A boost for the trail in 2015

Volunteers and lavender farmers met today to brainstorm and celebrate this past year’s successful ride to the farms. Each year we find ways to improve and make our beautiful Sequim-Dungeness Valley farms with their unique link to the Olympic Discovery Trail an amazing destination.

260 riders in all…record registration again in our 3rd year!

  • 105 stayed in hotels, B&Bs, and vacation homes
  • 29 stayed in campsites and RVs
  • 6 stayed with friends
  • 10 live in the area
  • 110 returned home on the same day

A donation of $3,900 was given to the Peninsula Trails Coalition for the benefit of the Olympic Discovery Trail.

Our volunteers are busy!

Here are some of our Sequim Spoke Folk volunteers at the Rainshadow Coffee Shop in Sequim where a recent planning meeting was held. The excitement hasn’t abated and the momentum continues to build. Inquiries are coming from all over the country. Lots of registrants are signing up and the rides are coming together! You can register for the rides here.
